UL20255

Thermoplastic Elastomer, TPE Jacketed Cable | UL20255

UL20255 cable consists of Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) jacket and highly purity copper stands. There are multi-core options for 2 to 100 conductor wires. Different colors are applied upon each wire insulation for easy identification. UL20255 compliant cable can be supplied on customize or standard base, in various AWG size, configuration, shielding option, designated insulation and jacket wall thickness.

What is UL20255?

UL20255 is an independent style number, as verified accurate to be a safety identification mark for cable with certain critical parameters fulfilled. A cable printed with marking content "UL20255" upon the jacket surface is to declare it is qualified to meet the corresponding safety requirement. UL20255 can be used as a factor of safety combination with other safety regulation, such as CUL, CSA, VDE, CCC, CE, etc.

FAQ. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I like pvc jacketed cable, but jacket surface to be marked with UL20255 marking. Is that available?
A: UL20255 is safety mark for TPE jacketed cable. A pvc jacketed cable with UL20255 marking does not comply with the safety standard.

Q: Is TPE jacketed cable more expensive than PVC jacketed cable?
A: Yes, TPE jacketed cable is more expensive thant PVC jacketed cable, because TPE price is so much higher than PVC in the market. Please contact WCH Cable (sales@wchcable.com) to get a specific & formal quotation.
